A replacement turbo actuator for vehicles based on the MK6 Golf chassis with the 2.0 TSi engine, fitted with the IHI turbo. However, this unit will NOT work on IHI turbos that have the actuator welded to the turbine housing as well as the rod end permanently riveted to the flapper arm. This unit will only work on turbos that have the actuator bolted to the turbine housing and the removable arm. The OEM turbo/actuator will need to be inspected first to determine if this unit will work.
This actuator uses a piston design for maximum longevity in comparison to the OEM units. Using a range of available springs this actuator can be tuned to suit your requirements. This product is built with a predetermined actuator spring suitable for at, or slightly above factory boost levels. The actuator can be assembled with a stiffer spring upon request.
